Purpose
Purpose
Our organization was created to respond and engage with a number of goals in mind. Firstly, to build and cultivate sustainable community programs, services and projects for the community's long-term benefit. Secondly, to provide relief and charitable acts of kindness to those seeking assistance. Thirdly, to facilitate the growing needs of the local Muslim community in Ottawa. Fourthly, to foster cross-cultural awareness and harmonious relations with the broader community-at-large.

Workshops and activities that help in social services, employment/entrepreneurship preparation, training, counselling, immigrant services, literacy/language instruction, athletics/recreation, including arts & crafts.
Relief from hardships
Relief from hardships
Acts of kindness and compassion including relief from poverty due to homelessness and/or hardships faced by low-income or vulnerable individuals. Initiatives will include food security projects, clothing drive and basic supplies.
Islamic services
Islamic services
Meeting the religious and practical needs of the community (such congregational prayer, fasting, Eid, zakat, etc.) including specialized support for new Muslims (i.e. converts/reverts). Also includes educational initiatives such as Islamic classes, seminars and planning for a school.

Islamic propagation (Da'wah)
Learn more about the Islamic faith and understanding the correct beliefs and practices. Dispelling stereotypes and misinformation with authentic resources. Promoting cordial relations, respectful discourse and engaging with people of diverse backgrounds and beliefs.
